What Readers Are Saying
“Love, a transformational emotion can take many forms over the course of a relationship we have with someone over time. How we convey this emotion to one another, particularly during times of uncertainty and change can speak volumes even more so than expressing love through words. In an interview expose of the author’s writing, “Loving Lulu” stories, she communicates the importance of sharing kindheartedness through our senses as a means of bringing healing to both the “giver and the receiver” in terms of therapeutic compassion, a principle that can be applied in a multitude of situations. Lulu’s journey with her Abuelita takes me back to the relationship I had with my maternal grandmother when I was a little girl, bringing back the cherished memories made by spending time with her, a love like no other that will never be forgotten.”
